8 week sessions for $70 Ages 10 and up.
Beginning classes focus on foil instruction
Intermediate / Advanced classes include foil, epee, sabre instruction and tournament techniques with electrical blades.
Instruction Information:
• 8-week sessions for $70.
• Classes meet Monday nights
• Start time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
• Grass Valley Veterans' Memorial Building main auditorium
• There is a once-a-year insurance fee that renews August 1st, payable directly to United States Fencing Association.
• All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary
• A $15/class walk-in rate for those with previous fencing experience (Speak with one of the instructors for availability)

Class Observation
Parents and observers are welcome to stay and watch, but not required. There is plenty of bleacher seating.-Bring a good attitude and be ready to have fun and learn! And bring a friend!
What Is Provided
All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary.
All jackets are laundered before each session, and each student is assigned his or her specific set of gear for the entire 8 weeks. All other gear is sanitized after EACH CLASS.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. We recommend long pants or sweats to cover your legs (even in the warmer months), for your protection.
Flat-bottomed tennis shoes are good. Feet must be covered.

Waiver Form
We will have a waiver form at class that needs to be signed by fencer or parent/ guardian. Continuing students or those students who wish to continue for subsequent sessions after this session, will need to enroll in a “non-competitive membership” which now costs $29.00. Insurance
There is a once-a-year insurance fee of $29 that renews August 1st, payable directly to United States Fencing Association.
