8 week sessions for $70 Ages 10 and up.
Beginning classes focus on foil instruction
Intermediate / Advanced classes include foil, epee, sabre instruction and tournament techniques with electrical blades.
Instruction Information:
• 8-week sessions for $70.
• Classes meet Monday nights
• Start time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
• Grass Valley Veterans' Memorial Building main auditorium
• There is a once-a-year insurance fee that renews August 1st, payable directly to United States Fencing Association.
• All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary
• A $15/class walk-in rate for those with previous fencing experience (Speak with one of the instructors for availability)

Waiver Form
We will have a waiver form at class that needs to be signed by fencer or parent/ guardian. Continuing students or those students who wish to continue for subsequent sessions after this session, will need to enroll in a “non-competitive membership” which now costs $29.00. For those of you new folks, please complete the 90-day free trial of insurance provided by US Fencing. Please click this link above to activate your trial, and bring proof to class next week.
Fencing Membership
Free Trial Period: It is your responsibility to keep track of the 90 days, and if you wish to continue fencing after that, you will need to activate your non-competitive “Access” membership, which is $29.00, and renews August 1 of each year. Here is the link for the paid membership: CLICK HERE
What to Wear

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. We recommend long pants or sweats to cover your legs (even in the warmer months), for your protection.

Flat-bottomed tennis shoes are good. Feet must be covered.

If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian needs to sign it. We will also have forms at class if you cannot bring one with you.

Payment for your class – cash, or checks made out to NCFC (or Nevada County Fencing Club). Sorry we do not have the capability for card payments; Cost will be $70 per student for 8 weeks of instruction; or $15/ night walk-in, for fencers WITH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE ONLY.

Students-Bring a good attitude and be ready to have fun and learn! And bring a friend!
What Is Provided
All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary.
All jackets are laundered before each session, and each student is assigned his or her specific set of gear for the entire 8 weeks. All other gear is sanitized after EACH CLASS.
Class Observation
Parents and observers are welcome to stay and watch, but not required. There is plenty of bleacher seating.-Bring a good attitude and be ready to have fun and learn! And bring a friend!
